• WTS-102 PLUS is a broad spectrum antiscalant designed to inhibit inorganic scale formation in membrane separation processes.
• WTS-102 PLUS inhibits calcium carbonate scale up to an LSI of 2.6.
• WTS-102 PLUS effectively inhibits formation of calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, calcium fluoride, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and silica.
• WTS-102 PLUS stabilizes metal ions to prevent metal oxides precipitation and disperses existing metal oxides/hydroxides, silt and clay particles.

WTS Antiscalants are normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter. It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line. The amount of WTS-102 PLUS required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and operational parameters of the membrane system. The specific control ranges will be specified by the technical representative and can also assist you in determining the appropriate dose rate for your system.

Chemical Feeding And Control

WTS A-181P is normally fed continuously into the seawater make-up line or into the recycle brine stream. It should be
injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum. The amount of WTS A-181P required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed-water, brine concentration factor and size and type of the flash
distillation system. It should be dosed continuously and proportionately to the seawater make-up flow to maintain the recommended dose level. Typical dosage will be between 3 – 4 ppm.
